"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" – John 3:16

Photography assignment 4

The topic of this week is composition. We were encouraged to use different things available around the house or outdoors for the setting of the photos. As this is the last class of this course, I sneakily submitted one extra photo.

1.Posing with her name sign in Chinese

The teacher says that the light is good. But I could have tried to position her differently with the name sign, for example, lying down with the sign next to her.

2. Behind the cot bars

Generally it is a good idea to use the cot bars for photos. But it could be better if I had stood a bit further away to take more bars into the photo and also to make the bars more blurred out.

3. Through the ball pit hole

This is a frame within a frame, i.e. I used the ball pit hole as the frame for my photo.

4. Sunshine on her face

I love how her face is partially in the shade and love her peaceful expression too.

5. Playing with the mirror

Our bedroom is a good setting to take pictures with mirrors. There is a lot of light reflected from the mirror and also the white background helps reflect the light too.

6. Twins?

I love this photo as it looks as if Anna was with her twin.

Conclusion

I enjoyed the photography course. Hopefully I can apply the techniques I have learned to take many more good photos.
