"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" – John 3:16

We went to visit Sevenoaks after Christmas. It has a nice town centre with a range of shops and restaurants. For children’s clothes, we visited GAP Kids and M&S and managed to get a few discounted items for Anna. We love the Hardware shop there. It is a big shop with so many nice home and cooking things.

There are not many Asian restaurants. We saw only two, one Chinese and one Thai. I wanted some Thai food then, but the restaurant was very baby unfriendly. We would have to bring the buggy up a long set of stairs to get access to the door. The manager told us that they don’t usually have customers with babies as there is no space for buggies. We ended up having our lunch at Wetherspoons. Simon had gammon while I had sirloin steak.  The food was delicious. Anna had some of our peas, mushrooms and a tiny bit of chips. She enjoyed them too.

We had a walk to Knole park, which is a part of the National Trust. It is a very big and hilly park with lots of deer wandering inside. We took a few nice photos with the deer.

We walked up to the Knole house which was situated at the top of the hill in the park. It was quite a steep walk up there so we got rather tired and decided not to visit the house. A better way of doing it is to drive up there and park outside the house, then visit the house and the rest of the park around it. Oh well, we’ll save it for the next visit.

Anna had a good drive that day. She slept all the way back.
